Hi, I’m Janira, a Product Designer originally from Barcelona, now soaking up the creative vibes in Berlin.
My journey into UX began when I graduated from a Philosophy degree (yes, you read it right!) at the Universitat de Barcelona. As you can imagine, there are not so many job offers wanting philosophers so I decided to bring my gift for logic into something more practical, so I dipped my toes into coding.
Just as I was about to dive into the tech world and enrol myself in a coding Bootcamp, I discovered UX/UI design—the perfect blend of my passions, so I decided to focus my career on this new field.
Since then, I've worked in different products as a UX and Product Designer, and I even stretched my skills across different fields, from customer care to QA. But no matter where I wandered, I always found my way back to UX—the place where my heart and skills truly align.
When I’m not in the office, I’m likely on a padel court, honing my reflexes (or just having fun). I love exploring creative hobbies that keep my hands busy and my mind relaxed—whether it’s embroidery, painting, writing, or getting my hands messy with clay. Perfection isn’t the goal; it’s all about channeling energy and learning new skills. I am lately a lot also into playing co-op games.
